COMMUNITY-BASED THERAPIST (Lake Villa IL)
We are seeking a full-time Therapist to provide in-home, community-based individual and family therapy. Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Mental Health Field required.
FOSTER CARE CASE MANAGER (Lake Villa IL)
We are seeking a full time Foster Care Case Manager to oversee all aspects of cases in our Foster Care program. Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services field and two years progressively responsible social services experience. Child Welfare Employee Licensure, Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol Certification, and Certification to conduct licensing of foster homes are desired. Per DCFS regulations candidate must be 21 years of age and have a valid Illinois or Wisconsin driver’s license with a good driving record.
PART-TIME MENTOR (Lake Villa IL)
We are seeking a part-time Mentor for our Clinical and Community Services Program. This position is 20 hours per week and benefits eligible. Mentors provide one-on-one support for children and adolescents with mental health problems to develop and strengthen social skills and independent living skills in activities in their home community. This position is for afterschool and weekends only. The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services field and some experience working with youth. Per DCFS requirements, candidate must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
TEACHER AIDE (Lake Villa IL, Woodstock IL)
We have Full-Time Teacher Aide positions available within our high end Special Education program at the locations above. Ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Education or Special Education and a Paraprofessional Certificate. One year related experience, preferably in a special education environment, a plus. Equivalent experience with no degree may be considered. Per DCFS regulations, must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and be at least 21 years of age.
YOUTH CARE WORKER AKA MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST (Lake Villa, North Chicago, Benet Lake/Bristol WI)
We have Full-Time rotating second shift positions for Youth Care Workers (aka Mental Health Specialists) at the locations above to work actively with high end "at risk" children and adolescents ages 8 to 18 years within our Residential Units and group homes. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related Human Service field, OR 5-years of related equivalent social service experience. Per DCFS regulations, must have valid driver's license with a good driving record and be at least 21 years of age.
