The Following Positions Are Currently Available:

POST-DOCTORAL RESIDENT
Allendale Association's Bradley Counseling Center is seeking a Post-Doctoral Resident to provide individual, group and family therapy to residential clients.

MENTOR
We are seeking a Part-Time mentor for our Community Support Program. Candidate will work intensively with individual and/or small groups of children and their families providing a positive role model and "someone to talk to". This position offers flexible part time hours. BS in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services field and two years progressively responsible social services experience required. Per DCFS requirements, candidate must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and good driving record.

MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST
We are seeking Full-Time, rotating second shift, Mental Health Specialist to work actively with children and adolescents within our residential Units. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related Human Service field, and/or 5 years of equivalent experience. Per DCFS regulations, candidate must have valid driver's license with good driving record and be at least 21 years of age.

TEACHER AIDES - BEHAVIORAL MANAGEMENT
Allendale Association has Full-Time Teacher Aide positions available with an emphasis on behavior management in our high end Special Education School, Lake Villa campus. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and some related experience, preferably in a special education environment, and valid driver's license with good driving record. Per DCFS regulations, candidate must be at least 21 years of age.

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS
We are currently seeking to hire Full-Time Special Education Teachers for the 2008 term in our Educational Services Program. Positions are available at our campus in Lake Villa, IL and Benet Lake, WI. Candidate must have an LBS I or LBS II teaching certification. Responsibilities include coordinating, overseeing, and providing individual/group educational instruction to students within the treatment program. Also provides direction to Teacher Aides.

TRANSITIONAL LIVING CASE SPECIALIST
Allendale Association currently has an opening for a Full-Time Transitional Living Case Specialist to manage all aspects of cases in TLP. Holds full case responsibility for DCFS cases as licensed youth welfare employee contracted through the private agency (POS). Assists clients in learning necessary life skills to live cooperatively and independently in the community. Works with the court system, families, funding resources, schools, and other community resources. Requires Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services field; two-years progressively responsible social services experience to include one-year of successful performance as a Transitional Living Case Specialist I or three-years of successful performance of Case Management; Child Welfare Employee Licensure; Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol Certification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

INTAKE SPECIALIST
Allendale Association currently has openings for a Full-Time Intake Specialist (bi-lingual preferred) to assist the Intake Coordinator with day-to-day Intake responsibilities. Requires Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related Human Services field, three-years related experience (bi-lingual preferred), working knowledge of DCFS and DHS procedures, valid driver's license with good driving record.

THERAPEUTIC RECREATION SPECIALIST
We currently have a Full-Time position available for a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Duties will include providing specific therapeutic recreational activities with at risk youth within a residential program. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field; six months related experience, Lifesaving, First Aid and CPR certifications, a valid Illinois driver's license with good driving record.
