We are seeking a full time Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy in our residential treatment program. Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Related Mental Health Field required.
COMMUNITY-BASED THERAPIST (Lake Villa)
We are seeking a full-time Therapist to provide in-home, community-based individual and family therapy. Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related Mental Health Field required.
THERAPIST (Woodstock IL)
We are seeking a full-time Therapist for our day treatment educational program at our Woodstock IL location. Candidate will be responsible for individual, group and family therapy for day treatment students. Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Mental Health Field required.
PART-TIME MENTOR (Lake Villa)
We are seeking a part-time Mentor for our Clinical and Community Services Program. This position is 20 hours per week and benefits eligible. Mentors provide one-on-one support for children and adolescents with mental health problems to develop and strengthen social skills and independent living skills in activities in their home community. This position is for afterschool and weekends only. The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services field and some experience working with youth. Per DCFS requirements, candidate must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND FUNDRAISING (Lake Villa)
We are currently seeking a Director of Development and Fundraising to be responsible for both short-term and long-term/strategic development and fundraising planning and forecasting in support of department and Agency mission, goals and objectives. This person works under the direction of the President within a leadership team. Primary duties include the planning, direction, control and oversight of foundation and corporate fund-raising, grant writing and administration oversight, donor/giving prospecting and relationship development, and alumni cultivation. Candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field, five years progressively responsible experience in fund-raising and grant writing for non-profits; management experience a plus. Experience with spread sheet, word processing and database PC-based software is required; familiarity with Blackbaud desired.
Placement Services Technical Support Coordinator
We are currently has a full time position for a Placement Services Technical Support Coordinator at our Lake Villa, IL location. The position provides training and regular support/monitoring for Case Specialists; documents clinical direction/approval on treatment plans and mental health assessments as needed. Preferred candidate will have a Master’s degree in Social Work or related Human Services field or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years prior supervisory experience in social work or human services field. Should have Clinical Licensure for LPHA authorization of Medicaid services. Prior experience with case management and/or experience with DCFS, DHS, probation departments, or school district a plus. Exceptions will be considered based on agency need and experience related to the position. Must have valid driver’s license w/good driving record and be at least 21 years of age per DCFS regulations.
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (Lake Villa, Woodstock IL)
We are currently seeking to hire a full time Special Education Teacher for our Educational Services Program. Candidate must have an LBS I or LBS II teaching certification. Responsibilities include coordinating, overseeing, and providing individual/group educational instruction to students within the treatment program. Also provides direction to Teacher Aides. Per DCFS regulations, must have valid driver's license with a good driving record and be at least 21 years of age.
TEACHER AIDE (Lake Villa, Woodstock IL)
We have Full-Time Teacher Aide positions available within our high end Special Education programs at the locations above. Ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Education or Special Education and a Paraprofessional Certificate. One year related experience, preferably in a special education environment, a plus. Equivalent experience with no degree may be considered. Per DCFS regulations, must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and be at least 21 years of age.
REGISTERED NURSE (Lake Villa)
We currently have a full time day shift position for a Registered Nurse at our Lake Villa IL, location. Candidate will be responsible for health services and first aid to residents, students and staff in accordance with standard nursing procedures, regulatory standards and Allendale guidelines. Candidate must have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Illinois RN licensure and ability to obtain Wisconsin state RN licensure, CPR and Red Cross certification in first aid, and knowledge of JCAHO standards, OSHA BBP rules, Illinois and Wisconsin Nursing Practice Acts, and Illinois and Wisconsin Code related to schools and health care. Per DCFS regulations, must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record and be at least 21 years of age.
YOUTH CARE WORKER AKA MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST (Lake Villa, North Chicago, Benet Lake/Bristol WI)
We have Full-Time rotating second shift positions for Youth Care Workers (aka Mental Health Specialists) at the locations above to work actively with high end "at risk" children and adolescents ages 8 to 18 years within our Residential Units and group homes. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related Human Service field, OR 5-years of related equivalent social service experience. Per DCFS regulations, must have valid driver's license with a good driving record and be at least 21 years of age.
