Positions Are Currently Available:
POST-DOCTORAL
RESIDENT
We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Resident to provide individual, group
and family therapy to clients in our Benet Lake, Wisconsin Residential
Treatment Program. Some evening hours may be required.
MENTOR
We are seeking a Part-Time mentor for our Community Support
Program. Candidate will work intensively with individual and/or
small groups of children and their families providing a positive
role model and "someone to talk to". This position offers flexible
part time hours. BS in Social Work, Psychology or related Human
Services field and two years progressively responsible social services
experience required. Per DCFS requirements, candidate must be at
least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and good driving
record.
MENTAL HEALTH
SPECIALIST
We are seeking Full-Time, rotating second shift, Mental Health
Specialist to work actively with children and adolescents within
our residential Units. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree
in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related Human Service
field, and/or 5 years of equivalent experience. Per DCFS regulations,
candidate must have valid driver's license with good driving record
and be at least 21 years of age.
OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPIST
We currently have a position for a Part-Time Occupational Therapist
in our Educational Services Division for the upcoming 2009-2010
school year. The position involves a flexible 32 hours per week
schedule following a 210 day calendar. Responsibilities to include
planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs
that help develop vocational, and independent living skills, as
well as general independence. Requires Masters Degree in Occupational
Therapy; registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association;
National Board Certification of Occupational Therapists; knowledge
of Special Education laws, rules and regulations and the skills
to develop and execute an Individual Education Plan; Illinois Department
of professional licensure.
CASE SPECIALIST
We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Case Specialist
to coordinate contact between clients and all outside agencies;
act as liaison between assigned clients, clients' families, guardians,
referral sources and other individuals involved in the treatment
of clients; prepare and present required reports; ensure all relevant
parties are informed of clients' needs, goals and treatment progress
on a timely basis. Requires Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology,
or related human services field, two years related experience, valid
Driver's License with good driving record, and experience working
with state agencies such as DCFS and DMH.
INTAKE SPECIALIST
(Bi-lingual Preferred)
We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Intake Specialist who
will evaluate referrals and perform intake assessments for new and
potential clients. Maintains working relationships with referral
sources in order to increase and sustain census. Requires Masters
Degree in Social Work or related Human Services field; Three years
experience relative to the position; working knowledge of DCFS and
DHS procedures; valid Driver's License with good driving record.
